Oybin is the village in the Zittauer Mountains with the most tourists: every train brings many people to the village. This means: the village is prettily decorated, there is a lot to see and many opportunities to stop for refreshments. Very beautiful mountain scenery all around with many long and short hiking opportunities.

From now on, the path leads down. We now see the Oybin castle and monastery and the mountain church, whose visit is highly recommended. From the Mönchskanzel viewpoint, we see the Taube, another rock formation. Exciting, what formations nature has created. The traces of weathering in the Muschelsaal look like imprints of shells. https://youtu.be/N2GgTh6HEzQ
