Historic Ignacy Mine - historic hard coal mine in Rybnik, the area of which has been opened to the public. The mine is located in Rybnik, in the Niewiadom district, and was opened to the public in 1999. The main attraction of the open-air museum are two steam engines: the first one from 1900, which operates the Głowacki shaft, and the second one, from 1920, which operates at the Kościuszko shaft. Additionally, there is an exhibition devoted to mining in the administration building. It allows you to see exhibits related to the history and culture of mining. In 2004, the mine was recognized as the best tourist product of the year in the entire Silesian Province. Since 2006, the historic Ignacy mine has been on the Industrial Monuments Route. There is a 46-meter high water tower in the mine, currently used as a viewing point. https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zabytkowa_Kopalnia_%E2%80%9EIgnacy%E2%80%9D https://www.kopalniaignacy.pl/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BiTNkXOmhg
