The Webers Brünnele takes its name from a farm in Anhausen, whose meadow bordered it. The site was made available to nature conservation many years ago by the Strehler family. In 2017/18, the Diedorf local group of the Nature Conservation Association renovated the well trough. They did not want to let the water, which is of drinking quality, flow away from the spring uncontained.
