The neo-Gothic church was built in 1857 on the site of an older, half-timbered church from the 18th century. It has survived to this day without any changes or damage.

The center of Witnica. At different times, many important institutions were located here: a court, a town hall, a hotel, a post office, a photography studio and a library. Most of these buildings no longer exist or have been heavily rebuilt.

The beginning of the brewery is considered to be 1848, when Ernst Ferdinand Handke came from Łagów to Witnica and leased, and a few years later bought, the local brewery. Until the end of World War II, the brewery operated under the name Stern Brau. After the war, beer was still brewed here, but the owners changed frequently. In 1992, in order to avoid the takeover of the brewery by foreign corporations and its consequent liquidation, an employee-owned company "Browar Witnica Sp. z o.o." was established. In 1995, it was transformed into a joint-stock company and operates in this form to this day. In 2022, the Lubuskie Museum of Brewing was established on the brewery premises.

Nice little market square in Witnica, unfortunately without the possibility to drink a beer.

The railway bridge, which runs over the red stream and over the red bicycle trail (PTTK), is a component of the railway line from Rzepin to Międzyrzecz (from the former Reppen to Meseritz), which physically exists to this day, despite the fact that it is practically closed. Sometimes you can see a handcar passing by here. The last time I saw a 5-car freight train here was in 2020. Even in post-war times, about 200 m west of this bridge, there was a switch, thanks to which rail transport to Gorzów via Lubniewice took place. This place can be easily recognized by observing the widening and subsequent forking of the railway embankment. The railway line from Sulęcin to Gorzów was finally dismantled, and its memento in the immediate vicinity is a railway viaduct over the black bicycle trail (about 150 m north-west of the railway bridge).
