From the wonderfully green Niebieska Dolina Reserve (!), there are beautiful views of the Tatras, and there is also beautiful silence and peace. This reserve protects the natural Carpathian beech forest. A great place for a hiker.

An interesting chapel by the road, in beautiful natural surroundings. It was built in 1750. There are several legends as to how it was built - most likely after a fire in the church in Kacwin. The chapel doors were turned towards Kacwin so that the priest could bless the town from above and protect it from future fires. Well, that's what they say!

This view of the Tatras from this pass is so good that it's hard to believe it exists... Simply from the road, without even getting out of the car (but do get out) you can admire the incredibly dramatic Tatra massif. I'll let the photos describe the rest, but I'll just add that many consider this place to be the best view of the Tatras anywhere!

Velo Czorsztyn is one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Poland, running around Lake Czorsztyn in the Pieniny Mountains. It is about 30 km long and offers spectacular views of the Tatras, the castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica and the picturesque landscapes of Podhale. The route is well-maintained, with a paved surface, which makes it suitable for all types of bikes. There are numerous rest areas, beaches and catering points along the way. An additional attraction is the possibility of shortening the route by cycling across the lake on board one of the boats operating here.

Lake Czorsztyńskie, located between the Pieniny and Gorce Mountains, is a picturesque reservoir on the Dunajec River. It was created as a result of the construction of the dam in Niedzica, which plays an important role in flood protection of the Dunajec Valley and in the production of electricity. The lake is a popular place for recreation, offering bathing, sailing, fishing and diving. There are numerous tourist attractions in the area, such as the Pieniny National Park, the castles in Czorsztyn and Niedzica, and the VeloCzorsztyn mountain bike trail. The lake also has a Bird Island, which is a shelter for waterfowl.
