The wooden church in Golcowa is a historic building. It is dedicated to Saint Barbara and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Next to it stands a modern-looking brick bell tower with three bells. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the church. The route from Domaradz through Golcowa and Przysietnica to Brzozów is rarely used, as the DW886 is a more convenient route. However, DW886 is currently impassable due to the construction of a new bridge over the Stobnica River between Domaradz and Blizne. The old bridge has been demolished, and detours lead through Jasienica Rosielna or Golcowa. This allows tourists to see the historic wooden churches on both of these detours. WW

The brick church was built in 1980-1981. It was consecrated in 1981 by Archbishop Ignacy Tokarczuk - the Ordinary of the Przemyśl Diocese. The parish was separated from the territory of the parish in Grabownica. Inside, you can feel like you are in an Orthodox church because of the huge number of paintings on the walls. WW

To the right of the old church and much further from the road, a new church was built. Comparing both buildings provides an opportunity to reflect on the change in the style of religious architecture in Poland that has taken place over the last hundred years. WW

Baroque collegiate church of The Church of the Lord's Transfiguration was built in the years 1676-1686 from the foundation of Bishop Stanisław Sarnowski and is the most valuable monument of the city. It has a two-tower façade (the towers were added in 1718-24) and two pairs of Baroque side chapels on both sides of the main body, erected in 1756 from the foundation of Bishop Wacław Hieronim Sierakowski. In the rich interior, it is worth seeing the magnificent main altar, and in it - a painting with the scene of the Crucifixion. In the chapel there is a miraculous image of Our Lady of Fire - the only image of Mary with such a nickname in Poland. The church belfry dates from 1745 and was renovated in 1902-05.
