If we encounter a double patronage at this house of God, namely + to the Holy Cross + to the Mother of God, Queen of Poland, this is a constellation that is – in my experience – comparatively rare. And yet, such a connection is already anchored in the biblical scriptures: For according to the New Testament accounts of Jesus' crucifixion, at the hour of his death on Golgotha, it was not the apostles and disciples (with the exception of John) who stayed with him, but his mother Mary accompanied the Son of God – who became human through her – to the foot of the cross and suffered with him.

The Church of the Holy Cross and the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Poland in Rozpucie is a wooden temple from 1900, built on the initiative of Father Adam Orłowski and the Leokadia Żuk-Skarszewska foundation. Built in a log construction, on the plan of a Latin cross, with a pillar tower and a three-sided closed presbytery, it is an example of traditional sacral architecture of the region. Located in the quiet village of Rozpucie, in the Tyrawa Wołoska commune, the church is easily accessible by asphalt roads, which makes it an attractive destination for road cyclists.

5 km ascent to Przełęcz Przysłup (620 m) from Tyrawa Wołoska. The elevation gain is 280 m, and the average gradient is 5.9%, sometimes reaching 12%, which makes this ascent the fourth most difficult in the Podkarpackie region. Smooth and good quality asphalt.

You can get to Przełęcz Przysłup from Załuż or Tyrawa Wołoska. On both, the elevation is about 300 m, but the ascent from Załuż is longer and therefore gentler - the average gradient is about 4.4%. Here we pass beautiful serpentines and a viewpoint. The view of the Słonne Mountains is truly picturesque.

Góra Sobień Reserve is a small but picturesque nature reserve located in the Bieszczady Mountains, known for the ruins of a medieval castle and a viewpoint over the San valley. The route leading to the top is short, but steep and rocky, so it is best to leave your road bike at the foot of the mountain. From the viewing platform you can admire a wide panorama of the surrounding hills and the river. It is a good place for a short stop and a walk with an element of history. Entry to the reserve is free.
