"U Kolarza" (At the Cyclist's), or Mr. Jurek Kuczko's, who was an outstanding cyclist. The inn serves local Podlasie cuisine, and please note that payment is cash only. I recently had delicious Russian pierogi there; I highly recommend them!

A great place for a larger group to stop, with a shelter, tables, and plenty of space. The site is known today primarily for the discovery of a Roman grave there in 1959, dating back to the 3rd-4th century AD. The grave was discovered while collecting gravel from a gravel pit located in section 396. Among the finds were human skeletons, pottery shards, and everyday objects. On this very dangerous death turn (a huge number of tragic accidents) there is a cross dedicated to General Józef Bułak Bałachowicz, who was murdered in this place by the Bolshevik political police (GPU) in June 1923 (his grave is in the cemetery in Białowieża). A little further on there is another cross dedicated to those who died in the war with the Bolsheviks in 1920. Please do not stop at this dangerous turn!!!
