A baroque castle, built in 1682 on the foundations of a medieval fortress. The castle park is very well-kept and freely accessible, although there is a 5-star castle hotel in the castle. The preserved remains of the moat as well as the medieval bastions of the fortress bear witness to the original defensive character. It retained the baroque appearance from the end of the 17th century. Above the entrance is the family coat of arms of the Rothschilds. The Hlučín-Darkovičky fortification complex is a unique place for military history enthusiasts, located near the border with Poland.
