März 1952 Ausbau als Radweg: um 1960 Die Route C beginnt im Norden von Trittau und führt über Grönwohld, Lütjensee, Hoisdorf, Siek, Papendorf, Langelohe, Stellau und Willinghusen nach Glinde. Sowohl in Trittau als auch in Glinde finden Sie genügend öffentliche Parkplätze, wenn Sie mit dem Auto anreisen. Einen direkten Bahnanschluss gibt es an der Route C nicht. Sie können jedoch aus Hamburg kommend die U1 nach Großhansdorf nutzen und von dort nach Hoisdorf radeln (ca. 4,5 km) oder die S21 nach Reinbek nehmen und mit dem Fahrrad nach Glinde fahren (ca. 7,5 km). Die Route C führt entlang der Trasse der ehemaligen Südstormarnschen Kreisbahn von Trittau nach Glinde. Dieser etwa 20 km lange Weg war allerdings nur ein Teil der Bahnstrecke, die von Glinde bis Hamburg-Tiefstack weiterführte, wo heute noch Gleise für den Güterverkehr vorhanden sind. Die Südstormarnsche Kreisbahn war die einzige Bahnstrecke im Besitz des Kreises Stormarn und wurde 1907 eröffnet. Beabsichtigt war vor allem, den Transport von landwirtschaftlichen Produkten zu verbessern. Der Gütertransport blieb von Anfang an hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Der Personenverkehr entwickelte sich zunächst sehr gut, ging dann mit dem Aufkommen von Buslinien aber auch stark zurück. Bereits Anfang der 30er Jahre wurde eine Stilllegung diskutiert. Diese bleib der Kreisbahn jedoch vorerst erspart, da während des zweiten Weltkrieges entlang der Strecke Rüstungsfirmen angesiedelt wurden, die auf einen Bahnanschluss angewiesen waren. Allerdings kam dann bereits 1952 das endgültige Ende für die Kreisbahn. Bis auf den heute noch existierenden Abschnitt Glinde - Hamburg wurden bald darauf die Gleise zwischen Glinde und Trittau demontiert.
