The Torre do Relógio (Clock Tower) of Figueira da Foz is a striking, 23-meter-high landmark in a modernist style on the seafront promenade (Avenida Marginal). It shapes the image of the city beach, which is also known as Praia do Relógio because of it.

Very tasty coffee and cakes + friendly staff. Even late at night decent service. The prices were pleasing. I highly recommend it. We accidentally found this cafe on the road during the rain late at night. We warmed up, had a snack and rode our bikes further.

September 2024: "sidewalk" on both sides was closed due to construction works. The only way to cross was on the lane with the cars. The speed limit was 30 and drivers were respectful in my case.
