On August 14, 1925, the border crossing near the Boll Bridge over the Torf Canal into Poland was impassable. The Polish border guards kindly pointed me to the crossing at Ahlbecker Straße, but I ignored it, as the long-distance cycle path parallel to the beach didn't require passport checks and was more pleasant to ride.

The descent to the harbor is doable with good brakes. Going back and uphill by bike is definitely not possible for those who are untrained :)
