As for PTTK shelters, it's quite a surprise, the conditions are more hotel-like than shelter-like, the food is perfectly fine - prices are acceptable, possibility to store bikes in a so-called shed - an annex behind the shelter, rooms facing the summit with small terraces and a beautiful view of Trzy Korony.
