Veliko Trebeljevo is a settlement in the Municipality of Ljubljana. The settlement is located on a ridge between the valleys of the Reka and Besnica streams. The first records of the place date back to 1145. In the middle of the settlement stands the church of St. Cross, which was erected by Stiški monks, because at that time the village belonged to Stiški monastery.
