Lake Pernica Nature Reserve

Highlight • Lake

A dreamlike idyll along the lake, part of it should be a reserve for birds of all kinds. We saw gray herons, gulls and swans there. The lake is divided in the middle by an artificial road.

Chapel at Mulec Winery

Highlight • Religious Site

Fillip Mulec built this chapel in 1914 on the site of the winery where he often appeared. In 1980 the two sequoias were planted next to it. At the winery there is now also a small campsite on a former tennis court, behind the fallow deer and Cameroon sheep. Everything is a natural idyll, the friendliness and hospitality of the family is stunning!

Dveri Pax Winery

Highlight • Restaurant

This winery belongs to the Admont Abbey and was restituted after Slovenia's independence. A leading company in Slovenia was developed here with large investments.
In the associated restaurant we enjoyed an unbelievable four-course menu that was expanded with two greetings from the kitchen. The arrangement of the dishes were works of art and the taste was a poem!
Sitting in the garden in a diverse landscape, we enjoyed the almost four hours that this meal lasted! We also got a wine accompaniment that led us through the different varieties of the winery.
The service was, humorous, happy and of course highly competent.
Then we were allowed to visit the ultra-modern wine cellar.
We recommend!
