Matthew
October 22, 2023, Ohio Creek Road

Ohio Creek Road is an awesome road for running. It is mostly smooth dirt the entire way with a few rougher areas. That being said, this is a great place for hilly out-and-back long runs whether you're a road runner or a trail runner at heart.

The Beaver Ponds at the top of Beaver Ponds Trail are a group of small alpine lakes that are full of fish in the warm seasons. You'll get a lot of solitude running on this trail, which isn't super far or super steep. The majority of the trail passes through an aspen forest that can be especially beautiful when the colors change in the fall.
