Almost always sunny on the bench. Almost always clear. Perfect for a pit stop, and you can either continue on through the Schaichtal valley, or come from there, or turn right at the bench onto a small trail that's easy to ride in the dry and takes you up the hill toward the B27.

Yes, once you're here... but the trails on the last 1.5km or so were really borderline for me: steep, narrow, overgrown, extremely tight curves, and then there were four large fallen tree trunks. I had to unbuckle everything from my bike and somehow hoist the bike over, sweating and panting, sob! But otherwise, great!!!
