We were the first time in Thalgau. Unfortunately we weren't lucky with the weather. Admittedly, we were on the road from April 8th to April 13th, 2023. Rain on the 1st day, and bitterly cold. The route over the Ischlerbahntrasse is wonderful to drive. Luckily for us we had booked a good hotel in Salzburg and were able to warm up again. And one more thing should be mentioned here. Very considerate drivers. That has to be said too. After a good meal, we hoped for a better Sunday. More on that in the next section.

Great destination with a pretty tough final climb - 18% on the last few hundred meters. The Kolomannskirche is the oldest wooden church in Austria
