This southern most loop of the trails, as of Jan 19, 2025 should be ridden with lowered expectations. Storms downed many trees here blocking the trail. Aside from that there were many branches across the trail that could lead to damage. There were signs crews were working to clear the trails but it will take some time I think. That said, there was little technically difficult aside from the off camber section that runs along the levee and if the trail was cleared it would be a nice long loop for training.

The best actual mountain bike trail on this side of the river. There was only really 2, now 1 (check the pictures) segments that were blocked (Jan 19, 2025) due to fallen trees. It’s an all skills level trail to be sure but I found it very nice. Just enough challenging sections to test you at higher speeds, easy pace would remain easy. There is a banked corner that I really liked to carry some speed into. Slight downhill then up to the banked, off camber banked left into a slight downhill. It sounds strange in script but was fun to see how much lean you could carry through it. The soil is all soft dirt, no clay or sand so lots of grip. A great place to practice or learn. A short loop you can do many times in a row

Awesome bike trail through the park. Loads to see on all sides and in both directions, but it does get busy and weekends so kill the speed during 'rush hour'.
