Very nicely designed barbecue area with lots of seating. There is also a toilet block, but this was closed. I later saw on the website that it is only open temporarily, from April to October.

It's interesting to watch the flight operations, gliders, helicopters and small motor aircraft. You can also eat something in the restaurant (served), and there are also snacks next door (unserved) if you're a little hungry. The Speck airfield is always worth a stopover when the weather is nice.
