Interesting path below, around the castle.

Steep is awesome. Completely paved up to the end, at the gate of the tower. However, in the middle section of the second steep section of the S-curve combination, there is significant damage to the surface. When descending in autumn, there are a lot of leaves on the path.

Changing contemporary art exhibitions await you within the castle walls, and a sculpture park is spread throughout the grounds. Part 1 is easy to ride, but from the turnoff into Maienthal it's heavily overgrown and more reminiscent of a logging trail. If you're into trials and like stinging nettles, you'll definitely get your money's worth here, but I have a different idea of "flowy"

Beautiful ridge trail up and down with a few tight turns and roots. It's best to head towards Hackenstedt.
