Cove Creek Campground is a great campground! Right by the lake, restrooms and showers are very clean. Be aware you need 7 quarters for a shower!

Smooth gravel ride from Detroit Lake to Tule Lake. Long ascent but not steep and road was in good condition (June 2024). Breathtaking views once you come out of the forest and descent. Had to cross a creek further down that did not have a bridge anymore. Could have gone back up and take a different route but water flow allowed me to walk though the creek.
