Beckett Park also offers a peaceful atmosphere with a mix of paved and natural trails, ponds, and open green spaces perfect for a family day out.

Can I bring my dog on the hiking trails?

Many parks in the area are dog-friendly, but policies can vary, so it's always best to check for signage at the trailhead. For a great experience with your canine companion, Mt. Airy Forest is a popular choice among locals, featuring miles of trails and a dedicated dog park.

Where can I find paved hiking trails suitable for strollers or wheelchairs?

Voice of America MetroPark is an excellent option for paved trails. It features a scenic 2.5-mile paved loop around a 35-acre lake, which is ideal for strollers, wheelchairs, and anyone looking for a smooth, accessible surface.
