Once a private golf course, it’s now part of the Cleveland Metroparks system and has been gradually rewilded into meadows, forests, and wetlands. Horseshoe Lake Park is a great park in Cleveland Heights. It has picnic shelters, a playground and bathrooms. There is a nature trail that takes you around the perimeter of the park and connects you with other parks in the area.
