Absolutely beautiful trail and this is exactly how I define a "gravel" trail. Not to rough and very few tree roots.

Horizons Park has a dog park, frisbee golf course, a baseball diamond, an exposed picnic area, a large sheltered picnic area, hiking trails and most importantly a great mountain biking area. The trails were built specifically for mountain biking and create a nice loop.

This is a mountain bike specific trail. It was built by Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Bicycle Advisory Committee and volunteers. That means it is fun with technical sections, jumps and drops. Recently some of the small access trails have been removed to create one continuous loop, making the trail much more fun.
