Somewhat surprising: Directly behind the giant camping supermarket "Obelink," there's a small mountain crisscrossed with mountain bike trails. There are various routes here, one even with a "wooden wall ride," that lead up and down repeatedly. Very beautiful and truly a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it's easy to get lost on the trails; a better overview map on site would be nice. But this just makes exploring more fun. Definitely recommended.

It's really fun to ride a mountain bike through the Bundeswehr area, but you should be careful in places. First of all, you are only allowed to drive on the site if there are no red flags hanging on various masts and where the Bundeswehr vehicles have driven more often there are really deep tracks. In the summer it could really hurt if you fall in a vehicle track like that and if it has rained a lot you can't see how deep the vehicle track is.
