Located next to the River Des Peres, it's a nice spot to start cycling along the River Des Peres Greenway. Hawk Ridge Trail is the longest circling the entire park, and then Owl Creek and Goose Trail are slightly shorter and perfect if you're looking for a shorter run. The park features a number of interesting buildings, native trees, prairies and picnic areas.

The Laumeier Sculpture Garden displays dozens of large-scale sculptures in a pretty outdoor environment, with the goal of engaging the public through art and nature. Admission is free, except for the occasional private event, and the park is open from 7am to half an hour after sunset.
