I would only recommend the descent to mountain bikers. The trail is completely rocky, with some fairly steep sections. You should also have some riding technique. Lowering the saddle makes the descent much easier, but be careful in wet conditions.

Here, you're not looking at the Wendelstein; the Breitenstein stands in front of it and obscures it. One of the photos does show the Wendelstein, but it was definitely not taken from here. The view extends into the Spitzing area, with Aiplspitz, etc., to the east and Brecherspitz to the west.

Between Wirtsalm and Eibleck, you pass the Schwarzwand on the north side of the Breistenstein. It's mostly hidden behind the forest, but occasionally it peeks through. Those who want the full panorama can cycle a few meters higher from the Eibleck to the Steingrabner Alm and perhaps even climb the Eiblkopf on foot.
