If you visit St Peter's Church, don't miss two majestic ancient yews in the churchyard. The bigger one has an opening large enough to get in (in case of rain...you never know!) . According to a legend, the spirit of a witch lives in the 'cave', and if you walk around the interior three times, you will summon her. I haven't tried π

The Merry Harriers Pub is a gorgeous 16th-century Inn located in the Surrey Hills AONB near Godalming. The pub serves great food, fantastic ales, and has a number of boutique bedrooms onsite for overnight stays. The beer garden is a wonderful spot to wash down the hard work, and make sure to look out for the friendly llama who can often be seen roaming the grounds.
