In Fischland and on the Darss peninsula, comfortable blue wooden benches are usually placed next to the signposts – as is the case here. These inviting "analog navigation points" are what make a holiday here special. All the benches are very well maintained.

An atmospheric place as a starting point for a trip on the Bodden lagoon, and thanks to the many benches also inviting for a break with a view of the Bodden lagoon and "harbor cinema" depending on the season.

On days when there are many cyclists, walking between the beach and the path on the dike is much more relaxed here.

The official hiking trail ends in the forest. In March 2025, it was still passable towards the Bodden lagoon, requiring a crossing of the ditch at the end. After the winter of 2026, in March the drainage ditches in the forest were quite full, and there was a lot of mud alongside them. I turned back.
