In 2015, an old linden avenue from the former palace park was renovated. Planted around 1750, the oldest trees had become about 267 years old. Following the historical model, these were revitalized and the avenue itself extended, restoring the sightline from the southern shore of Zwenkauer See to the Trianon. https://www.zwenkau.de/portal/meldungen/neue-schilder-fuer-das-trianon-900000459-27490.html

The trees remind me a bit of the Ents from Lord of the Rings.

Simply beautiful! The sun, a bit of wind, the clattering of the masts of the sailing boats. Pure relaxation. Café Kandler has delicious cakes.
