On April 25, 2019, the dedication of our restored T-34 tank memorial took place in Beilrode. The memorial commemorates the meeting of the Soviet and American armies in April 1945. On April 24, 1975, the 30th anniversary of the liberation from fascism, the Soviet T-34 tank was placed high on a pedestal in the middle of Beilrode Park. The memorial is an integral part of Beilrode's landscape, a piece of local history—especially for older residents—that must be preserved for future generations. https://www.beilrode.de/seite/457523/panzerdenkmal.html
