Harold Park has all the usual park amenities including potable water, restrooms, picnic area, and a telephone. This elevated inland park has vast views of the countryside stretching all the way to the ocean. This would be a great wide-open spot to launch a drone and get some aerial photography.

This white sand beach is a prime location to surfing and windsurfing, but also has many great amenities for those looking for a lazy day. On the pavilions side of the beach, there are smaller pools of water that are protected from the ocean currents.

The Visitor Center is open daily, with outside accessible restrooms available 24 hours daily. Inside, there are panoramic orientation tables of the landscape and knowledgeable staff that can provide information on the history of Haleakalā, which means house of the sun, and its importance to the indigenous peoples. The view from here is stunning, and if you plan early, this is an excellent spot to watch the sunrise, which has been a visitor attraction since the late 1800s.
