The San Leo Abbey dates back to 1936 and is a beautiful structure built of Florida limestone brick and red cedar from its trees in the interior. In 1998, it was added to the US National Register of Historic Places as part of the St. Leo Abbey Historic District on the Saint Leo University campus.

The paved trail at Flatwoods Conservation Park is a really popular running and biking loop. There are side trails that you can take that branch off from this main loop if you want to go further/shorter or if you just want to ride on trails instead of pavement.
