At this point, you're definitely not looking at Lake Schermützelsee, but rather at an information board "At a Glance" or at the Buckow town map. Both of them do, however, show Lake Schermützelsee. However, if you walk a few meters further west, the lake comes into view.

You can find these small, chilled out lounge areas with furniture right on the bathing jetty on the property of Haus Tornow am See, whose future is completely uncertain after the fire. At the end of August 2023, the entire roof structure of the old manor house burned out, so it is currently closed until further notice. Drinks, cakes and other small items could be purchased self-service in the garden pavilion. Now we have to keep our fingers crossed that operations can be resumed in the usual way at some point...
