Right on the picturesque harbor promenade of Ribnitz-Damgarten stands an extraordinary work of art: "The Circus is Coming" – an impressive bronze sculpture by the renowned sculptor Jo Jastram. A gift to the city As a long-time patron of regional art, the Lions Club Ribnitz-Damgarten worked with great commitment to anchor this significant work in the city. Out of deep connection with the artist, the desire arose to create a large-scale sculpture that not only commemorates Jo Jastram's artistic work but also enriches the city's cultural landscape. A suitable location was quickly found: the sculpture group was given its permanent place in 2005.
