Many people say: It's a stupid place. I think Fürstenwerder is great. I make an effort to cycle there every year.

Parmen is certainly beautiful and the herbal coffee shop is a good place to take a break, but the street "Am Kiecker" is not suitable for racing bikes. But you can bypass Parmen on a quiet residential street (asphalt on one side and concrete slabs on the other) and a wide, super asphalted footpath and cycle path.

If you like transverse grooves and washed-out concrete, you've come to the right place. The better alternative is the cycle path right next to the road in the south of the section. Further north, don't switch to the road (washed-out concrete road!) but follow the cycle path off the road to Fürstenwerder.
