Very beautiful. Especially in the morning you can watch the sunset reflect on the lake and mist rising out if it. Its pretty magical. Except if you running the whole route...keep in mind, all bathrooms are somehow "closed for season"😭 but overall 5 stars

A scenic, moderately challenging trail along Folsom Lake with about 13 miles out-and-back. Watch for poison oak and share the path with cyclists and horses. Bring water—there’s little shade—and expect a $12 park fee. Great lake views make it worth it!

The open air museum can be crossed free of charge. Trails also run on both sides, along Sutter as well as Leidesdorff Streets.

Great views of Lake Natoma from the American River Bike Trail. The trail is paved and this section follows along the banks of the lake, so there are multiple spots that give you these amazing views.

It is the best trail system I’ve ridden. Beware though if rain storm, the trail underpasses will probably be flooded

Well-preserved and lovingly restored railway depot of the original Folsom station, and the cool original turnaround. It had a prime location along the railway line climbing across the Sierra Nevada via Donner Pass. Today it hosts a visitor center, also with information about the adjoining museum.
