April 25, 2025, Froom Creek Trail

A nice little trail into the Irish Hills, whether on foot or mtb bike, especially in the rainy months when Froom Creek is flowing. When it is, look for the small waterfalls on the feeder creeks on the southern side of the creek.

This is a great stretch of road with a wide shoulder and a good access point from SLO (San Luis Obispo) to Morro Bay or Montana de Oro.

Mountain bike required. Locals are wearing protective gear though as long as you ride down slow and well controlled, no issues.
