Perched on ocean bluffs overlooking the Pacific, this scenic park offers a fascinating blend of natural beauty and local history. The accessible paved paths wind along dramatic cliffs, treating visitors to sweeping ocean panoramas and potential whale sightings. A gorgeous beach that is perfect for taking a mid ride break and perhaps even a dip on a warm summers day. Take care of the vehicles on the beach as they are permitted on it.

November 15, 2023, Adam Hill Memorial Bench

The Adam Hill Memorial Bench is on the corner of a switchback on Turtle Trail. This area is great for a break on this multi-use trail and a good opportunity to soak up the view of Shell Beach and Pismo Beach. Often in the morning there is a marine layer, but the afternoons usually clear up for a sunny view over the ocean.

Pismo Beach Downtown is a small town right on the coast and offers many small cafes and restaurants. In February it is pleasantly quiet and not too warm or too cold. The view from the beach to the surrounding hills is phenomenal.
