A lovely path along the Werse river. Great for cycling. Light gravel, no major potholes.

In my opinion, this section is definitely NOT a highlight. While the path does lead through a forest, the condition of the trail is anything but "great." First bumpy, then badly damaged. If you want to avoid the road and are riding a mountain bike or a bike with comfortable suspension, this section might be okay. Definitely not recommended for trekking bikes without suspension.

Definitely very nice in summer when it's dry for a long time. Not recommended in autumn: There are always very muddy passages, and you sometimes have to push your bike.

The Werseradweg is always a great destination. You can fly along it especially wonderfully on a gravel bike.

Caution is advised. At some bends, cyclists may suddenly come towards each other, often side by side. This beautiful cycle path is very busy, especially at weekends and when the sun is shining.
