Rietberg always with a picturesque old town worth seeing. However, the entire pedestrian zone is currently being renovated and the routing for pedestrians and cyclists is a disaster. So currently it is better to bypass.

The narrow forest path runs directly along the lake and is more of a hiking trail than a cycle path. Slow down and enjoy the ride. There are many small access paths to the lakeshore along the route.
