There are two options for circumnavigating this popular lake and urban recreation area: The first is to run the road around the lake. You might find this a better option during the summer, when the lakeside trail tends to be populated with swarms of mosquitoes that really will motivate you to run away. During the winter the mosquitoes die off and the lakeside trail becomes a fun run as soon as any snow is packed down.
