Myllyjärvi Lake is a beautiful little spot to go swimming. It's pretty small, so it can get crowded, but since not many people know about it, you usually find a parking spot in the small lot. There's no sandy beach, so people jump straight into the water from the rocks or the small quay on site. It’s an official beach, so the water is regularly checked and is pretty refreshing, even if it looks a bit cloudy. There is also an outdoor toilet available. Since it’s quite out of the way, you need a car to get here. Many folks head there late in the evening during summer, when the sun stays up late, and it’s a lot quieter.

A set of small caves on a cliff of Brännbergen hill. The site can be visited quickly from a nearby bus stop (Rajaportti). Nearest houses are close, so avoid making noise or walking through private yards when visiting here. The path may get slippery when wet or icy conditions.

Kaitalampi is a lake of about twelve hectares in the north of Espoo. The western half of the narrow south-north lake is in Velskola district and the eastern half in Luuk district. Pitkäjärvi in Velskola is on the southwest side of Kaitalammi and Tuhkuri on the northwest side. Halkolampi is closer to the previous ones, almost directly to the north. The water of Kaitalammi is very clean, as there are no emissions in the area that pollute it, and blue-green algae have also not been detected in the water of the pond. The administrator of the bathing place is the Helsinki City Sports Authority. Kaitalampi, as the name suggests, is a long (1.2 km) and narrow (0.2 km) lake with a rocky shore. The area of the lake is 10 ha and the shoreline is 3.1 km long. The beaches deepen steeply and there are very few shallow areas. The maximum depth of the lake is 13 m. The catchment area of Kaitalammi is small and a rocky area. The catchment area is 0.7 km2. There are no lakes in the Kaitalammi catchment area and no ditches or streams flow into the lake.
