This is a modest open wilderness hut that is open year-round. Here you will find an overnight place for independent hikers. You can stay in wilderness huts for one or two nights without a reservation. Be prepared for the possibility that there may not be enough space to sleep in the hut. The hut sleeps six and is heated with a stove. There is a gas stove for cooking. You can take water from the spring, do remember to purify it. Remember to pack out your own waste and bring your own cooking utensils!
