It was probably the bones of Gorm that were found in the smaller of the two burial mounds and then reburied

Both stones are well protected behind glass at the entrance to the church

The museum is no longer free (only for children). We paid 120 DKK per adult, which was more than worth it. Nice staff, a wonderfully animated Viking exhibition with many details and elaborately designed. From the roof terrace, you can once again view the place (burial mounds and former Viking fortress)! Simply great!
