A beautiful trail that runs right along the lake. You have beautiful views across the water and there are places to swim.

The path towards the forest is to the left from the road. It is a small path that goes a bit uphill.

Inspired by the scenic (fantastic) spot of Frogmore (or Froschmoorstetten) in J.R.R. Tolkiens „The Hobbit" novel, this place reminded me very much on how I imagined this place when I heard about it the first time. Overwhelmed by frogs and toads in the marshes and bogs, an occassional grey winged heron, and swarms of little midgets filling this place with vivid life. It just misses the „Floating Log Inn" :)
