"Bohosudov (German Mariaschein) is the central district of the town of Krupka in the Czech Republic. It is known above all for the pilgrimage church of the Sorrowful Mother of God, which is also referred to as Mariaschein after the earlier place name. The church has a rectangular floor plan with only one nave and three side chapels. It has a rich interior. The church is surrounded by a cloister with seven chapels, built in 1584-1590. The chapels symbolize the Seven Sorrows of Mary and bear the names of the donors." - https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bohosudov

With the MTB you can also get up well if you don't use the Way of the Cross. It's a nice place up here.

Very good cycleways both tarmac and gravel in the vicinity of the lake, which is not a lake but a man-made landscaping project, which began as reclamation of a former coal mine.

Nice paved bike path on Lake Milada, a former opencast mine. One circuit is completely paved. More information: http://www.jezeromilada.cz/de and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Milada

Mariaschein is probably one of the most impressive sacred buildings in the Bohemian Ore Mountains. A visit is worthwhile ... The possible donation is good for the gradual restoration that the area undoubtedly needs.

On the mountain with a beautiful view of Mariaschein stands the group of statues from 1905, which consists of a cross with the body of Christ crucified, on our right is the weeping Virgin Mary and on the left the Apostle John. We recommend the walk along the Stations of the Cross with the fourteen chapels that represent the individual stations of Jesus Christ on the way to the crucifixion (18th century).
