The Lúčanský waterfall is about 13 meters high and is one of the few waterfalls in Slovakia located directly in the center of the village. It was formed on the stream flowing into the spa valley of Lúčky, known for its thermal waters and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases. The water flows over limestone rocks forming travertine cascades characteristic of this Liptov region. In 1974, the waterfall was declared a nature monument.

Likava Castle was built at the end of the 13th century as a guard post controlling the trade route through the Váh valley. The castle stands on a rocky hill above Ružomberok and belonged to the largest fortresses in the Liptov region. The fortress was expanded several times and in the 17th century took part in the fights of the anti-Habsburg uprisings. After the suppression of one of the rebellions, imperial troops partially blew up the castle, causing it to remain a ruin since the 18th century. To this day, fragments of walls, bastions, and defensive gates have been preserved, from which one can see the Váh valley and the Tatra Mountains.

The Sester Valley, also known as the Malatinska Valley, is a picturesque and deeply cut valley in the Choč Mountains, which crosses the entire range from south to north. It separates the Prosieczny Group from the Sielnické Vrchy and runs along the Sestrčský stream. It is named after the now defunct settlement of Sestrč, whose area was flooded during the construction of the Liptovská Mara reservoir in the 1970s. The route through the valley leads from Bukovina to Malatiná and is closed to car traffic, making it an ideal section for cyclists looking for peace and quiet and wilderness.
