The Roman Catholic Church the Rectory of St. Karlo Borromejski belongs to the oldest buildings in the historical part of Pančevo. It was built in 1757, and the Minorit monastery nearby was built a year later. Slovenian Anton Krej painted frescoes in 1940. This is the only place in the city where you can hear the organs. Since 1995, there are regularly held Christmas concerts, and during the year there are concert of classical music. Under the church is a crypt where, until 1800, monks were buried.

The tarmac is pretty rough nowadays. Better skip it, if on a road bike with skinny tires.

I was there last time in November 2024. Litter was everywhere – on the shoulder of the road, on the trees, in the bushes. There were also a few illegal garbage dumps just next to the road and two packs of aggressive stray dogs. So unfortunately, this beautiful road is no longer beautiful. It’s actually a rather sad and grim place now. Don't know maybe they cleaned it up already, but it was like that in autumn 2024

Nice road, sometimes concrete, sometimes cobblestone, mostly dirt. In dry weather can be traversed on any bike, in rain it's better to stick to gravel. During spring and any other floody time try not to stick close to the river, stay on higher part of embankment. There are also a few aggressive dogs in villages close to the river.
